Deploying WSUS 3.0

How To Deploy Windows Server Update Services 3.0

Sometimes my customers ask me about how to deploy WSUS 3.0. They need information about hardware recomendations according to the number of clients. I always send them the following table and the next link. If we open this link (Microsoft TechNet) we can find a lot of information about:

  • Design the WSUS 3.0 Deployment
  • Install the WSUS 3.0 Server
  • Configure the WSUS 3.0 Server
  • Update and Configure the Automatic Updates
  • Set up a Disconnected Network
  • and many interesting appendices

I think this is the best information about deploying WSUS, and that is why I want to share.
